AgapeWay respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information.Information Stored on Your Device
Your AgapeWay chat history is stored locally on your device. AgapeWay does not maintain a server-based copy of your complete chat history. You can delete locally stored conversations within the app (Settings -> Clear Conversation) or by deleting the app from your device.Information Sent to the AI service
When you submit a message using AgapeWay's AI chat feature, the text of that message is transmitted to OpenAI, LLC through AgapeWay's secure server infrastructure for the purpose of generating a response.Only the message needed to generate the response is transmitted. AgapeWay does not intentionally send your previously stored chat history unless that text is included in the current request.Your message may contain personal information if you choose to enter it. You should not submit highly sensitive information such as passwords, financial account numbers, Social Security numbers, medical records, or other confidential information.Before AgapeWay sends your first message to OpenAI, the app asks for your explicit permission. If you do not consent, your message will not be transmitted, and the AI chat feature will not be available.Third-Party Service ProvidersAgapeWay uses the following providers
-OpenAI, LLC: Processes submitted chat text and generates AI responses
-Vercel Inc.: Provides server infrastructure used to securely route requests between AgapeWay and OpenAI.
-Apple Inc.: Manages App Store subscriptions, purchases, and Sign in with Apple, when applicable.These providers process information according to their applicable privacy and security commitments. AgapeWay does not sell your chat content or personal information and does not use it for advertising or tracking.OpenAI states that API data is not used to train its models by default. OpenAI may retain API inputs and outputs for up to 30 days for security and abuse-monitoring purposes unless a different retention arrangement applies or longer retention is legally required. OpenAI API data controls.SubscriptionsAgapeWay offers optional subscriptions managed through Apple’s App Store. AgapeWay may access your subscription status to determine whether premium features are available. AgapeWay does not directly receive or store your full payment-card information.Data Retention and DeletionChat history stored by AgapeWay remains on your device until you delete the conversations (Settings ->Clear Conversation) or remove the app.Information transmitted to third-party providers may be retained according to those providers’ policies and legal obligations. To request assistance concerning your AgapeWay data, contact us at the address below.Withdrawing ConsentYou may withdraw your permission for future AI data sharing through AgapeWay’s privacy & AI consent settings (Settings ->Withdraw AI Data Consent). After consent is withdrawn, AgapeWay will not send new messages to OpenAI unless you provide permission again. Withdrawing consent disables the AI chat feature but does not affect information previously processed by service providers.Data SecurityAgapeWay uses reasonable technical measures to protect information during transmission. However, no electronic transmission or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.Face ID and Biometric Authentication
AgapeWay offers optional device authentication using Apple's Face ID through the LocalAuthentication framework. AgapeWay does not collect, access, receive, process, transmit, share, retain, or store facial images, facial geometry, biometric templates, or other biometric templates, or other biometric data. Face ID authentication is performed entirely by Apple's operating system. AgapeWay receives only an authentication success or failure result.The app stores locally on the user's device a preference indicating whether the optional Face ID app lock is enabled. This preference contains no facial or biometric information. Users may disable the optional Face ID feature at any time from AgapeWay's welcome (first) page.Children’s PrivacyAgapeWay is not directed toward children under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.Changes to This Policy
